Royler Gracie é filho do Grande mestre Helio Gracie e uma lenda do jiu jitsu por seu próprio mérito, tendo sido o primeiro “Rei da Divisão Peso Pena do Jiu-Jitsu” estabelecendo o recorde de campeonatos mundiais na época. Royler Gracie também se aventurou no MMA (MMA) encerrando a carreira em 2006, e se destacou como técnico, liderando a academia Gracie Humaitá no Rio de Janeiro, desenvolvendo lutadores como “Megaton” Dias, Alexandre Ribeiro, Omar Salum, Pedro Valente, Gui Valente, Vitor Terra, Guilherme Goraib, Fredson Alves, Renato Barreto, Leonardo Xavier e muitos outros. Em 2010 Royler mudou-se para San Diego, Califórnia (EUA), onde abriu sua própria academia. Royler Gracie is the son of Gracie jiu jitsu Grandmaster Helio Gracie and a legend in jiu jitsu and submission wrestling of his own merit, having been the first “King of BJJ’s Featherweight Division” setting the record of world championships at the time. Royler Gracie also ventured in mixed martial arts (MMA) ending his career in 2006, and excelled as a coach, leading the Gracie Humaitá academy in Rio de Janeiro, developing fighters like “Megaton” Dias, Alexandre Ribeiro, Omar Salum, Pedro Valente , Gui Valente, Vitor Terra, Guilherme Goraib, Fredson Alves, Renato Barreto, Leonardo Xavier, and many others. In 2010 Royler moved to San Diego, California (USA) where he opened his own academy. We are honored to receive this great master and reference in the history of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
